Millwright

NDC Personnel & Contractors is seeking a skilled Millwright to join a dynamic FMCG team and ensure the seamless operation of machinery and equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining the effectiveness and availability of essential machinery through quality repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades. The successful candidate will conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure the workshop adheres to top hygiene and safety standards. Key responsibilities include root cause analysis for breakdowns, updating maintenance registers, and working collaboratively with the team. Were looking for a qualified Millwright with an N4 certificate and at least 5 years of experience. Familiarity with VSD, electric motor control, pneumatic systems, and PLCs will be highly beneficial. Applicants must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and standby shifts. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a good understanding of the OHS Act are essential.
