The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post trade test experience in fast-paced, automated, continuous operation manufacturing environments. Maintenance needs to be the life force behind our plant and equipment's specific physical existence, with the aim of giving it renewal and sustainability.Effectiveness will be measured using plant availability.Grounding ConceptsKnow and understand the plant and equipment design and technical specifications and standards.Understand and manage the spare components/parts supply chain.Measure and report.Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.Ensure that calibration of cement & trolley scales happens on a weekly basis.Health and Safety.SkillsN4 certificate minimum.Red seal trade test certificate.Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships, and applications.Critical Thinking — using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Past ExperienceTrained by a professional in doing things right.Worked in a continuous manufacturing environment.At least 5 years experience in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
