RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Millwright to join our client's team in the mining industry in the Northern Cape. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment used in mining operations.ResponsibilitiesPerform regular maintenance tasks on machinery and equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issuesRepair or replace defective parts as neededConduct preventive maintenance activitiesCollaborate with other team members to ensure optimal machine performanceFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentKeep accurate records of maintenance activitiesRequirementsGrade 12Millwright Trade Test CertificateAt least a N3 in EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery in the mining industryEquipment experience required: Komatsu: 730-10; 860; PC4000; WA1200 & CAT: 994HStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsExperience with heavy equipment used in mining operationsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the mining industryBenefitsSalary: NegotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
