Minimum Requirements:Grade 12Trade TestedCompleted ApprenticeshipAt least 2 years industrial (factory) experienceAt least 3 years Millwright experience in an industrial settingFood and Beverage industry experience beneficial and preferredStrong understanding of mechanical systemsPLC experienceWelding and fabrication experience Duties and Responsibilities:Installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentInstall and assemble new machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprintsEnsure all manufacturing processes works at optimum levelConduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.Do fault finding on equipment with and without PLC monitoring toolsEnsure high operating efficiencyLubricate machinery and ensure all moving parts operate efficiently.Identify and resolve issues with mechanical systems and equipmentUtilize diagnostic tools and techniques to determine root cause of malfunctionPerform precise alignment and calibration of machinery components to ensure optimal performanceUse alignment tools such as laser alignment equipment, dial indicators and micrometres.Modify and fabricate parts as needed using machine tools.Weld, cut and shape metal components to meet specific requirementsMaintain high occupational safety standards.
