RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Millwright to join our client's team in the mining industry in the Northern Cape.
As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment used in mining operations.
Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Repair or replace defective parts as needed Conduct preventive maintenance activities Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal machine performance Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Keep accurate records of maintenance activities Requirements Grade 12 Millwright Trade Test Certificate At least a N3 in Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery in the mining industry Equipment experience required: Komatsu: 730-10; 860; PC4000; WA1200 & CAT: 994H Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Experience with heavy equipment used in mining operations Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the mining industry Benefits Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)   RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
