JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS N3 Engineering Trade tested Millwright 3-5 years proven experience as a Millwright General milling and turning experience Knowledge of boilers and air compressors Basic welding pneumatics and hydraulics Experience in Meat processing equipment will be an advantage Ability to read machine blue print Ability to work unsupervised In-depth mechanical skills Trouble shooting and problem- solving skills Analytical skills KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS) Ensure the leanest operation Installing and disassembling machinery Repairing and replacing defective machine part. Reading and implementing instruction on assembling machinery Using heavy machinery to move machinery or part. Communicating with other employees regarding the status of different machinery Ensuring machines work properly. Must be willing and be able to work overtime as and when required. Must have experience in CNMMs Supervising mechanical workshop staff Providing basic training for employees as needed. Evaluating employee performance and providing direction, correction, or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the machinery. Inspecting the assets frequently for signs of damage or wear Effective control of all resources at your disposal Assisting with emergency response and evacuations Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs
