Actuarial Consulting Company Seeking System DeveloperDuties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with management, colleagues, and other developers to enhance the product and produce software designs based on new client requirements.Well-spoken and comfortable to be put directly in front of clients.Participate in overseeing the development of new and existing features, including feature conception, design and wireframing, ensuring the feature is developed, implemented, and tested by the appropriate software developers, rolling out the feature and making sure everything runs smoothly and safely in production.Perform detailed wireframing and scoping tasks relating to the features and interact closely with the developers and clients to ensure the features are successfully implemented and signed off between stakeholders.Perform quality assurance checks and scenario testing before launching to the live site.Continuously think of new ways to improve the business platform through effective and strategic development.Be involved with client management.Able to work on your own and within a team.Valid driver's license.Desired Experience & Qualification4 - 6 years relevant work experience in the field of IT or Business Analytics specifically focused on software development.A completed relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (degree / diploma) in Computer Science.Have a practical working knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns.Familiarity with software requirements analysis and IT project management best practices.Networking.MS SQL.C#..Net Core & Framework.MVC.Hybrid/Multiplatform applications.Interfacing directly with hardware devices using proprietary protocols (Advantages).Experience building APIs.Experience with integrating JSON/REST APIs.Experience developing in a web framework.Experience in utilities monitoring will be advantageous.Good understanding of Git and version control.Package & RemunerationNegotiable Depending on Experience
