Ogilvy Cape Town is seeking a talented and award-winning Mid-Level Art Director to join our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful work across various media. You will collaborate with copywriters, designers, and strategists to create compelling and effective campaigns for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute creative concepts that meet client objectives and brand guidelines.Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality visual content.Present creative ideas and concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and design.Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow professionally.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.Ensure all creative work is delivered on time and meets the highest standards of quality.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.3-5 years of experience as an Art Director in an advertising agencyProven track record of award-winning work, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual and visual skills.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Passion for creativity and innovation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working on integrated campaigns across various media, including digital, print, and TV.Understanding of social media platforms and content creation.Knowledge of video production and editing software is a plus.
