Job Description The role of a Sales Agent is one that demands utmost professionalism, integrity and a customer-centric approach. A Sales Agent builds trust with their clients by engaging them in a respectful manner and ensuring they are offered financial products in line with their needs.
The role calls for formal in-house training in conjunction with continuous on the job coaching and development.
As a Sales Agent with Old Mutual, you will represent the ideals and values to which the company has subscribed for over 175 years – Integrity, Professionalism, and Customer-first.
What is required of you? Marketing Old Mutual products to new and existing clients, in line with the client's needs and financial goals, to enable positive financial futures and protection of assets and estate.
As a financial services professional, you will be accountable for maintaining superior service delivery to your customers, through effective personal time and task management.
What do we need from you? Grade 12 (Matric) certificate 6-12 months sales/retail sales experience Previous working experience in the financial industry advantageous A clear criminal and credit check Computer literacy (MS Office) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Personal Qualities Target and Goal Driven Client service orientated Adhering to company values and policies Good business acumen Proactive Ability to influence Confident decision making Ability to handle pressure and setbacks Good interpersonal skills Trustworthy Good time management skills Resilience What we can do for you?
