About the roleReporting to the Account Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Merchandising. To maintain the standard required by the company within each store and ensure maximum exposure of the brand, thereby assisting in the sales and merchandising of products for the defined area.
ResponsibilitiesAdhering to a route list ensuring regular calling and merchandising on existing customers.Upholding the merchandising standards set by the company regarding safety, category management, and maximum product exposure.Securing and maintaining shelf space (market share) as well as negotiating additional secondary space either on a shelf or in a display.Maintaining customer relationships.Controlling and maintaining POS material and merchandising tools.Erecting displays.Reporting on and monitoring opposition activity to the representative and Sales Manager.Reporting on buying patterns/concerns/occurrences experienced in-store.Assisting in promotional activity and supporting promoters in-store.Fluidra is a workplace where everyone can develop.
Minimum RequirementsNational Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed).Minimum of 1 year experience in FMCG merchandising/sales environment.Initiative and creativity.Thorough and accurate.Time management.Ability to work alone as and when required.Own transport or the ability to use public transport to get to certain areas as and when required.Should you not hear back from us within 2 weeks after the closing date, please note that your application was unsuccessful.
