Description: The Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) department within the Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Division is responsible for the development, maintenance, and effectiveness of core administrative management and student systems at the U of T. This includes all central SAP systems, the central U of T Student System (ROSI), and various related vendor and specialized web applications.
The Meeting Room Technology Coordinator (MRTC) provides onsite support at confidential meetings and their required meeting room technologies for various meeting rooms, including providing support outside of regular working hours (evenings, weekends). The MRTC regularly attends executive and senior administrative meetings that include strategic discussions of labor relations and University governance. Responsibilities include the setup and operation of audio-visual (A/V) equipment during meetings, ensuring the quality of legally required audio recordings, and liaising with A/V vendors to troubleshoot technical issues.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EDUCATION: Three (3) year college diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years related work experience in a service and/or production unit with in-depth knowledge of sophisticated audio-visual equipment and associated peripherals. Experience in standard office software and communications packages such as Skype for Business.
SKILLS: Strong commitment to high-quality service, professionalism, and teamwork. Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
OTHER: Ability to perform duties in a busy, service-oriented department; work well under pressure; deal with senior-level client requests in a live-troubleshooting mode. Demonstrated initiative to learn new skills and technologies.
