Their academic foundation should be solid in both technical and theoretical aspects of engineering.
No Experience Needed: Since we're not requiring prior work experience, we can look for someone who demonstrates strong learning agility, curiosity, and a passion for innovation in automation and robotics.
Problem-Solving & Quick Learning: They should have a keen interest in applying their knowledge to real-world factory challenges.
Core Attributes to Look for: Strong Analytical Skills: Experience or coursework in data analytics and Excel is essential since they'll work on data-driven projects. MySQL database management and data capturing abilities will help them manage the digital side of operations. Tech-Savvy with Automation & Robotics: PLC and SCADA systems knowledge, even if theoretical, should be strong. An interest in automation and robotics is key, given that they will work with Yaskawa robots and related automation systems. Exposure to BI & ERP Systems: Understanding of Visual BI dashboards and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will be valuable for decision-making and reporting. Passion for Maintenance Planning & Management: Even without formal experience, a keen interest in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. iAuditor) and maintenance planning is important since they will assist you in overseeing these operations.
