A leading supplier of systems, equipment, and services for the pulp and paper industry is looking for a Mechanical Technician (Turner Machinist / Fitter Machinist) to provide technical services through plant and machinery installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support to customers.
Requirements: Engineering Trade Certificate – Fitter Machinist / Turner (Section 13 or Section 26 (D) (4))N3 Mechanical Engineering Certificate / NQF Level 4Record of completion of apprenticeshipValid Driver LicenceJob planning and reporting in writingAbility to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, manuals, and instructionsProficient in using precision measuring instruments, operating a wide range of fitting equipment including but not limited to hand tools, power toolsStrong knowledge of general labour principles, practices, and regulations
