Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring all repairs and services are performed to the highest standards. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a wide variety of vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Manage and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support where needed. Monitor stock levels, tools, and equipment, ensuring the workshop is fully functional and efficient. Maintain records of all repairs, services, and inspections for reporting and customer communication. Liaise with customers, providing professional service updates and recommendations. Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Requirements N6 relevant qualification At least 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician within the automotive industry. Proven experience in managing and leading a workshop team. Strong diagnostic skills across a range of vehicles (petrol, diesel, and hybrid systems). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure. Proficient in using the latest diagnostic tools and technologies. Strong communication and customer service skills.
