Mechanical Technician - Hvac- Ct

Role: To implement and manage an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery.
To develop, manage and maintenance standards for the operations, asset care and maintenance of equipment.
Develop and manage engineering specifications in the region for new assets and the maintenance of existing assetsComplete highly technical maintenance and statutory asset audits and inspectionsInvestigations (Root Cause Failure Analysis) and submission of failure reportsDevelop and implement mitigations and recommendations resulting from RCFA completionIdentify maintenance risks on clients equipment for evaluation and resolution via Fire Resistance Level & Risk Notification processesProjects end to end involvement as per request from Project ManagersReview and contribute to scopes of works, maintenance strategies and maintenance tacticsReact to major equipment failures as first responder in order to return to service as soon as possibleManage vendors, suppliers, contractors and OEMs in order to bring equipment back to services and manage specifications for its operations, maintenance and extension of asset life cycle
N6/ National Diploma: Mechanical/Electrical or related formal qualificationRefrigeration Trade TestMatric (Senior Certificate)Valid SA Drivers License3yrs relevant engineering experience in facilities maintenance5yrs relevant engineering experienceEngineering maintenance, CRM & Property ManagementMS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledgeOHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management & Risk Management Systems
