Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent - Mining Industry - R1.8Mil - R1.5Mil

RPO Recruitment's client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent to join their team in Mooinooi, North West.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and assess level of issue-based risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation, and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)Manage performance against set targets and competenciesEnsure discipline is maintained (absenteeism, lateness, overtime, misconduct, etc.)Document and review the plant maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business planEnsure strict adherence to maintenance work management principles (percent planned work, adherence to schedule, number of breakdowns, number of proactive requests) to obtain maximum plant availability at minimum maintenance cost per unit producedManage the Engineering Assets to ensure that they produce at their designed capacity and are periodically refurbished to their original condition to ensure optimal lifeEnsure strict adherence to the relevant engineering standards and specificationsPeriodically audit the asset and documentation to obtain maximum standardisation of spares and new plant installations on the siteRequirementsGrade 12Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringGCC Mines & WorksProject Management Certificate (PPM)6 years' experience in mining/ plant industry3 years' managerial experienceBenefitsSalary: R1.5Mil/yr - R1.8Mil/yr, salary negotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & DevelopmentContact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
