Mechanical Engineer - Trailer Industry/Creo

5 Years experience in a trailer manufacturing environment in a Mechanical Engineering position from other trailer manufacturing companies and Grade 12 and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Truck Bodies/Trailer experience is essential.Must be familiar with Side Tipper Links, Curtainside/Taut liners and Flat Decks.
Experience in Reefers and Tankers is not a requirement but will be an advantage.Computer literate and MS Office, especially advance excel Proficiency and strong understanding of PTC Creo 3D software, Auto CAD are essential and not negotiable.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials are essential.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment of quality.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.Teamwork abilities, must also be able to work independently.Manage time well, multitask, and the ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines in predetermine time frames.Own transport as well as a valid drivers license.Must be willing to work overtime.Must be willing to travel short-term business trips to surrounding Countries of South Africa, China, Europe, North America, Australia etc, for market and product research and development.Salary will be discussed during the interview depending on qualifications and experience.
