Vacancy DetailsEmployer:Michelle Cloete Consulting Pty Ltd Duties comprise of overall management of both mechanical and technical departments.KPA's:Management of the Technical department and all related activities, and adherence to all relevant legislation, regulations and Intergrated Management System (IMS) processes (Group and local).Manage Technical department staff, including daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc activities, employee development, appraisals and disciplinary actions.Manage all technical processes as per requirements of Group IMS.Participation in audits (IATF16949:2016, internal system audits, internal process/VDA6.3 audits).Manage and ensure adherence to KPI targets for technical processes.Management of the Maintenance department and all related activities, and adherence to all relevant legislation, regulations and Intergrated management System (IMS) processes (Group and local).Manage Maintenance department staff, including daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc activities, employee development, appraisals and disciplinary actions.Manage all maintenance processes as per requirements of Group IMS.Participation in audits (IATF16949:2016, internal system audits, internal process/VDA6.3 audits).Manage and ensure adherence to KPI targets for maintenance processes.OTHER SPECIFIC DUTIES:Electrical –Read and understand electrical diagrams.Hydraulic –Read and understand hydraulic diagrams.Electromechanical –Perform replacement and/or servicing of pumps.Perform fault-finding on heat pump errors.PLC control - surface treatment plantHMI control - surface treatment plantProgramming pipe bender - CNCLPG –Understand burner faults and codes and perform problem solving.Perform exchange of burners.Perform ionisation and ignition probe changes.Perform fault finding on LPG vapouriser.Welding –Weld penetration: Ensure that weld penetration complies with acceptable level according to standard.Weld quality: Ensure bead size and length as well as visual inspection.Testing –Have and apply knowledge of SABS 1430.Have and apply knowledge of SABS 1465.Have and apply knowledge of Road Traffic Act.Perform in-house testing to SABS 1430 (non-certified site).Perform in-house testing to SABS 1564 (non-certified site).Research and development/project management –Customer specific requirements.Perform costing.RFQs.Design.2D CAD (AutoCAD).3D CAD (AutoCAD).Engineering change requests (serial production and project phase).Deviation requests.APIS –FMEA software.DFMEA.PFMEA.Control plan.Have and apply knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA handbook.Maintenance –CMM software (C-Works) Predictive maintenance.Preventative maintenance.Perform shutdown and startup maintenance.Bills of Materials –Create, check, update and perform routing.Information and IT –Document control relating to maintenance, issue of work instructions, CMM work orders, etc.Perform fault finding on IT (PC/network) issues before escalating to IT service provider.Oversee server backup.Oversee PC maintenance.Oversee server maintenance.Obtain quotations for new IT equipment and/or repairs.Support –Create spare parts lists.Maintain spare parts lists.Create operating manuals.Create repair manuals.Maintain repair manuals.Participate in 8D problem-solving meetings.Energy –Perform tracking, identify trends and control usage to ensure within set targets for –WaterLPGDieselElectricityRequired SkillsCmm Software: 6 to 7 yearsHydraulic Pump Maintenance: 6 to 7 yearsAutocad Engineer: 6 to 7 yearsManagement Of Technical & Maintenance Department: 10 years or morePneumatic Diagrams: 6 to 7 yearsLPG Vapouriser Fault Finding: 6 to 7 years
