Plant Engineer

My client in the Automotive industry is seeking to employ a Plant Engineer to join their company Duties include:Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment failures.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, analyse production processes, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality.Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety training sessions to promote a culture of safety.Project Management: Lead engineering projects related to plant expansion, upgrades, or modifications, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.All GMR (2) responsibilities including root cause analyses and investigation of incidents.Ensure the achievement of the overall objectives of manufacturing services and maintenance.Project management including the commissioning of new equipment.Preparation and management of annual budgets.Minimum Requirements: Education: Degree/Diploma in Electrical EngineeringIndustry Experience: Automotive industry experience is a top priority.Maintenance engineering experience covering all engineering disciplines (Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation)Working Experience: 6 years and above in plant engineering-related rolesCertifications: Government Certificate of Competency (Factories) – ElectricalPrevious GMR (2) Appointment and Responsibility
