Responsibilities Sizing of mechanical components of a process flow sheet and generation of mechanical equipment listsAdjudications of mechanical packages and management of such procurement packagesAssisting with layout generation, drawing compilation and drawing reviewsInterfacing with process, electrical, civil, structural and instrumentation engineersManagement of small to medium sized projects, including the setup and ongoing technical, commercial and financial project controlReporting of technical, progress and financial aspects per projectClient facing interaction and dissemination of clients needs/wants/expectations into a project execution planRegular time on site, mainly driven by the stage of projectUltimate responsibility and oversight for the complete technical solution and project success as measure by time, cost and qualityAdjudications of certain construction packages and management of all such construction packages Qualifications/Skills - non negotiable BTech, BEng or BSc degree in Mechanical EngineeringAt least 5 years experience in the mining or minerals processing industryProficient in the MS suite of products, including MS projectsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritise work Qualifications/Skills - additional Proficient in MS Projects or Prima VeraExperience with AutoCAD or other computer based drafting packages is a benefitRegistration with ECSA is beneficialPMP or equivalent certification is beneficial
