Mechanical Draughtsman Within The Agricultural Industry

Mechanical Draughtsman within the Agricultural industry Duties and Responsibilities:Production design and draughting.Liaise with the costing and production department.Production of all fabrication's drawings upon request to the relevant standards and procedures.Ensure that all drawings and work instructions are kept up to date.Communication between different departments on current projects and requirements thereof.Utilise work orders, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specification.Program and maintain current file revisions of drawings.Prepare detailed standardised work instructions and set-up sheets.Requirements:3-5 years proven work experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.Appropriately qualifiedWorking experience within the Agricultural sector advantageousDraughting skillsHands-on experience with computer-aided design software. (SolidWorks & Inventor) National Senior Certificate.Driver's licence.Competent in Microsoft applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Technically minded & a creative thinker.Attributes:Strong character that learns fast and retains information.Respecting time keeping and deadlines.Well spoken.Able to work on their own and under pressure.Very organised.Good memory.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:George/ Albertina, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
