FCSReporting to the Branch/Fleet ManagerThe above position is vacant at our Worcester Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to repair the company vehicles when needed.Minimum Requirements:Clear criminal recordQualified – Trade certificate in diesel/petrol mechanics to work on various vehiclesAt least 5 years' diesel mechanic's experienceExperience with Toyota Dyna's; Hino 300's; Hilux D4D's; Nissan MP200's; Isuzu bakkies are an advantageValid drivers' license (code 10 is advantageous)Own transport is advantageousAble to work under pressure, unsupervised and multitaskMust be prepared to work irregular hours, i.e. standby duties; shifts and overtimeAuto Electric knowledge/experience is an advantagePhysically fitJob Specification:Rebuild a diesel and petrol engine (various makes of vehicles)Servicing of vehiclesPerform day to day maintenance on vehiclesCompile paperwork for each vehiclePerforming basic workshop dutiesOther Personality Attributes and Core Competencies:Must be honest and reliableMust have good verbal and language abilitiesAble to follow instructions accuratelyProblem solvingPay attention to detailMust be self-motivatedWilling to work overtimeAccuracyQuality assuranceExcellent organisation and planning abilityTime management and punctualityWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.Should you not be contacted regarding this position within 10 working days from the closing date, please regard your application as unsuccessful.
