We also supply a full range of technical services to our customers, including advice on nutrition, feeding programmes, animal husbandry, and production techniques.Our commitment to optimal animal nutrition has made us the largest feed company in Africa and the leading supplier of innovative, high-performance feed solutions.The successful candidate would be responsible for:Provide initial (first line) support for Microsoft Dynamics GP and Feed Mill Manager and 3rd party systems;Provide end-user support; assist with end-user training and the creation of documentation and manuals;Development of reports (Smartlist, SSRS and Power BI) will form a key part of this role;Prioritize support efforts for Meadow Feeds business units, focusing on Randfontein, Delmas, Standerton, and Lanseria. Support for other Feed business units required from time to time;Act as a liaison with software suppliers when necessary to resolve issues;Commitment and compliance to the requirements of the continuous business improvement program (20 Keys), and any other company management systems.The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:A relevant University Degree (B. Com / B.Sc.) will be greatly advantageous;Any other relevant formal training in the following technologies will be advantageous;Microsoft Dynamics GP CertificationQuerying Data with Microsoft T-SQLProject ManagementAt least 3 years' experience in providing Microsoft Dynamics GP support;At least 5 years' experience in T-SQL, supported by a relevant qualification and/or training;At least 3 years' experience in SSRS development and support;Exposure to MS SQL Database administration;A general understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) systems will be advantageous;Knowledge of feed milling will be greatly advantageous;It is essential that the successful candidate be self-motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlines; must be able to work independently;Ability to work under pressure and swiftly resolve queries;Logical but able to take direction from others;Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels in the organisation, with excellent people skills;Excellent administration and problem-solving skills;High level of personal and professional integrity.
