We are an independent, non-profit institution serving the educational needs of the immediate and wider community of Johannesburg.We require the services of a dynamic candidate to join our High School Faculty with effect from1 January 2025.TEACHER: High School Mathematics Support SpecialistThe ideal person for this position should have experience:Designing and evaluating assessments to identify learning challenges and individual needs.Developing tailored educational, emotional, social and environmental plans to address academic and developmental gaps.Providing one-on-one and group support lessons in Mathematics to pupils, employing evidence-based interventions.Collaborating closely with the support team, Mathematics teachers, parents and other professionals and specialists to create cohesive support strategies and learning methodologies.Administering, monitoring and tracking pupils' progress and adjusting interventions as needed to achieve desired outcomes.Participating in team meetings and contributing to the College's innovative approach to intervention.The ability to teach Mathematics up to Gr 12 level will be an advantage.Requirements for this position:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field.Demonstrated excellence in teaching Mathematics.
