The ideal candidate will ensure master data is updated daily, monitor variances in forecasts daily, and communicate all the above to the relevant stakeholders when required.Minimum Requirements:BSc/ BCom in Supply Chain1 - 2 years of operational supply chain experienceStrong Mathematic and statistical skillsProject management skillsDuties and Responsibilities:Actively participate in and contribute to shaping the department's strategic direction.Monitor and assess progress against strategic goals, making adjustments as necessary.Develop actionable recommendations and implement plans to achieve the department's strategic objectives.Collaborate with team members daily to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify optimal solutions for overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement.Support the alignment of strategic plans with suppliers by staying updated on market trends and engaging in tactical forecasting.Maintain proactive and consistent communication with key stakeholders.Develop and manage stock build plans, taking into account capacity, raw material supply, and other critical factors.Optimize supply chain processes and systems for maximum efficiency.Recognize internal and external factors that influence demand, ensuring these are accurately reflected in forecasts.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiencies.Identify and analyze challenges, trends, and opportunities within the supply chain.Maintain and manage critical data and systems, including Master Data, BOMs, MOQs, rounding values, and lead times.Gather, validate, and align information and assumptions to reach a consensus on operational plans.Share and disseminate MRP plans, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.Track, manage, and escalate issues related to supply shortages.Develop and issue daily production schedules for all units.Plan and allocate resources, including labor shifts, to meet production needs.Manage warehouse space according to operational plans.Oversee the management of redundant and obsolete stock.Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.Provide regular forecasts to suppliers, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates.Manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate placement and tracking of all aspects.Maintain updated price lists and communicate any price changes to relevant internal parties.Manage supplier contracts and negotiate pricing agreements.Ensure adherence to supplier allocation guidelines.Handle supplier claims, returns, and pricing disputes, ensuring timely resolution.Coordinate and communicate daily delivery schedules.Report on material shortages, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.Drive cost-saving initiatives aligned with departmental strategies.Analyze historical and current performance data to identify areas for improvement and stay informed about market trends and department priorities that could impact demand.Implement tactical plans to support business decision-making with a focus on capacity and staffing and oversee the implementation and ongoing review of long-term tactical plans.Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.IMPORTANT: We specialize in specific niche fields.
