Materials Planner

Responsibilities:Plan and plot raw material requirements based on sales and production requirementsAnalyse past sales and trends to forecast raw material requirements 6 months in advance25% local and 75% imports - plan shipping timelines.Managing material requirementsOptimising inventory levelsCo-ordinating with sales forecast, manufacturing and logistics teamAnalysing production data and identifying improvement opportunitiesRequirements:Degree in FinanceAt least 3-5 years experience in raw material planning within a manufacturing | supply chain environmentExcellent verbal and written communicationMethodical with attention to detailTeam player with leadership skillsStrong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills, MS Word and Power PointERP knowledge and experience an advantage
