Materials Planner

Southgate Industrial Park. Growing FMCG company offers a challenging opportunity to analytical graduates with strong numerical aptitude and advanced Excel skills to handle the planning of raw material requirements to meet production needs. A Finance Degree with excellent computer aptitude and knowledge of ERP systems is required.
Responsibilities:Plan and plot raw material requirements based on sales and production requirements.Analyse past sales and trends to forecast raw material requirements 6 months in advance.25% local and 75% imports - plan shipping timelines.Manage material requirements.Coordinate with sales forecast, manufacturing, and logistics teams.Analyse production data and identify improvement opportunities.Requirements:Degree in Finance.At least 3-5 years experience in raw material planning within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Methodical with attention to detail.Team player with leadership skills.Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.ERP knowledge and experience is an advantage.
