Master Installation Electrician – Cape Town

The successful candidate will be taking part in day-to-day Client meetings and project planning engagements with Client as well as manage safety expectation.They will also oversee complex plant installations in Flammable Environments to meet client expectations and well as ensure compliance with all Flammable Installation regulations.They will also, where required, take a lead role on installation projects and ensure installations are in line with applicable regulations and that compliance with local regulations is maintained at all times.They shall take an advisory role, guiding the client during project installations and operation of their plant to ensure that every installation performed complies with Flammable Installation Regulations and safety standards.They will manage and comply with stringent company and client safety regulations at all times. Key Deliverables:
Contract management managing client relations, expectations, and deliverables.Lead on-site team of technical and experienced artisans.Manage team discipline.Take charge of day-to-day schedule of planned installations inspections.Take charge of day-to-day response to unplanned work requests.Maintain good relations with Client to ensure they are aware of all planned work schedule.Where required, have ability to take leadership and lead the team on inspection services.On identification of non-conformances, produce a detailed technical report to ensure Client is made aware.Ensure all customer expectations with regards to project progress are met and exceeded.Take part in ensuring that every Client installation complies with applicable regulations.Manage and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures. Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Minimum N3, Electrical Engineering.Divers license (MUST).Must be a registered Master Installation Electrician (MIE) (MUST).Knowledge and proficiency with MS package (MUST).Experience in Petrochemical Industry or Similar environment, at least 5yrs (MUST).Working knowledge of SANS 60079-17, SANS 60079-19, SANS 10142-1 (MUST).
