Role OverviewThe Marketing Manager will be pivotal in shaping and executing marketing strategies to drive brand growth and market impact. With strong experience in the employee benefits and financial services sector, more primarily B2B, this role demands hands-on expertise across various marketing channels and a proactive approach to strategic initiatives. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing to lead projects, enhance brand presence, and deliver high-impact results.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and drive business growth, leading strategic projects from concept through execution.Action Plan Development: create detailed marketing action plans outlining goals, outputs, and timelines, and secure approvals from relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.Marketing Execution: execute and oversee marketing initiatives across digital, social media, PR, and content channels, ensuring the delivery of high-quality marketing campaigns.Collaboration: work closely with internal and external marketing teams and internal clients to effectively execute the project plan, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.Performance Tracking: assess the success of marketing initiatives through data analysis and performance metrics, identifying challenges and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.Regular Communication: maintain regular touchpoints with the marketing team to provide guidance, support, and feedback, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Reporting: prepare and present comprehensive reports on marketing campaign performance, project progress, and key metrics to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, addressing challenges, and recommending improvements.Budgeting: manage and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources, adherence to financial constraints, and optimisation of spending to maximise ROI.Minimum RequirementsDegree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience7-10 years in marketing with proven expertise in the employee benefits and financial services sectors, focusing on B2B marketing. Demonstrated success in enhancing brand awareness and driving brand growth, with at least 2 years in a marketing manager role.
Digital Expertise: strong track record in B2B and B2C direct campaigns, including email marketing and digital campaigns (both organic and paid). Proven ability in strategising, crafting, and executing effective marketing strategies.Digital Savvy: proficiency with CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and website management, including hands-on experience with Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, LinkedIn, and content creation.Wide Marketing Experience: demonstrated ability in brand, product, and solution marketing, with experience in driving comprehensive marketing strategies across the full marketing mix.Collaboration: experience in briefing and managing external suppliers and agencies to ensure maximum value and effective collaboration.Internal Communications: proven track record in developing and executing internal communication strategies that effectively keep employees informed and engaged with company objectives.Events: proven ability to drive and manage high-profile events, ensuring successful execution and strong brand representation.Hands-On Approach: willingness to roll up sleeves and actively contribute, with practical experience in implementing marketing initiatives across various channels.Motivation: highly skilled and proactive with a strong work ethic, consistently providing timely updates and demonstrating a readiness to contribute actively to marketing initiatives.The NMG SA Group of Companies are authorised financial service providers t/a NMG Benefits.
