Should have the ability to think analytically, conceptually and systematically in order to resolve problems and draw valid conclusionsCan translate key elements of the marketing mix and apply these consistently across retail channels – brick and mortar vs digital. Should be able to land initiatives that deliver to the unique shopper requirements between Drug and Department stores.Should have a creative flair with the ability to translate ideas into concrete / workable / realistic marketing initiativesCritical to the role will be the ability to co-ordinate amongst all key functions (Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) and develop close relationships with Regional and Global Brand Marketing.Ability to manage direct reports and co-ordinate efforts in supporting roles –such as forecasting, planning, Sales and R&DManage in a high-pressure environmentExperience with potential to advance into a senior brand management roleStrong strategic thinking within a luxury beauty spaceStrong understanding of Luxury Brand management & Luxury Marketing conceptsWilling and able to work on both strategy and operational subjectsProactivity, adaptability & flexibilityMultitaskingNegotiation skillsBusiness acumenKey responsibilities:Brand management:Agree with Geneva marketing team brands priorities according to corporate strategyDevelop and implement the marketing calendar, following corporate guidelines, designating key launches, promotions, and on-going marketing supportDevelop brand level P&Ls and ensure implementation of the marketing programmes that deliver the P&LBuild specific marketing plans and activities for key launches and key retailers. Build relationships and work closely with the marketing departments of the key retailersProvide guidelines / priorities per brand to Trade Marketing and PRBudget management:Plan, control and track the marketing budgetTrack performance of launches and key products; Identify ways to improve brand financial performanceDo pay-out/breakeven analysis on marketing initiatives prior to implementationDo post-launch analysis / tracking for indicated actionsForecast /pricing:Forecast and regularly update quantities on launches, promotions, and gift: product and promotional materials using the S&OP process to ensure alignment with salesSet retailer specific launch strategies and targetsReview the Rolling Forecast and identify gaps between the annual brand plans and the forecasts; recommend options for closing the gapsReview, comment and approve pricing proposals from Geneva Pricing TeamSales presentation:Communicate category and brand strategy to sales teams and key accountsPresent key product launches to major customersMarket and consumer understanding:Develop and implement market intelligence to design activities that deliver a better return on investment and/or competitive differentiationAnalyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunitiesProvide regular feedback to the Geneva marketing team on brand performance and competitors activitiesMedia/PR:Create media plans with OMD in line with international briefing and key prioritiesDefine and manage the media budget according to agreed brand prioritiesMeet with Editors and Media Owners on a regular basis in order to develop new ideas to support key brandsAgree PR strategies with PR department to ensure consistency with marketing strategyIn store support / Training:Provide guidelines to TMM for special in store executions & co-advertising plansEnsure that counter execution is consistent and coordinated with the brand and customer strategies (including store material, GWP allocation)Work with Training Manager to develop training programsImplement special training sessions dedicated to key retailersDevelop on-line training (Arden Academy)About our VALUESInnovationCollaboration & AccountabilityInclusionWhat does Elizabeth Arden offerFor our part, we offer an excellent working environment, investment in training and career development programs, competitive remuneration and other benefits.
