Responsibilities Lead & Inspire: Guide a dynamic team of Visual Designers and UI Designers to develop visually compelling products that are both brand-aligned and user-focused. Creative Direction: Drive the creation of design solutions across digital touchpoints, including websites, apps, social media, and marketing collateral. Hands-On Problem Solving: Take an active, hands-on approach to solving design challenges. Whether it's refining layouts, reworking interactions, or developing innovative visual solutions, you'll roll up your sleeves to address obstacles and ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centered outcomes. Collaboration: Work closely with UX, Motion, and Digital Designers, ensuring seamless integration of visual and functional design elements. Brand Stewardship: Ensure all designs reflect the Telco brand's visual identity while also being flexible enough to adapt to specific project needs. Project Ownership: Manage design projects from concept to completion, including providing feedback, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines. Team Development: Mentor and develop the skills of your team, fostering an environment of creativity, learning, and growth.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Experience: 8+ years of experience in a design environment (studio or agency), with at least 3 years leading a team. Design Mastery: Strong graphic, UI, and interaction design skills, with an impressive portfolio showcasing responsive web design, mobile apps, motion graphics, and branding. Tools: Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects), and experience with design tools such as InVision, Sketch, or Figma. Hands-On Approach: Proven ability to jump into the design process to resolve visual and interaction challenges, driving projects forward with innovative, real-time solutions. Communication: Excellent ability to articulate design concepts to both the team and stakeholders, offering clear, actionable feedback. Creative Problem Solver: A deep understanding of user-centered design, visual hierarchy, and interaction principles. Strategic Vision: Ability to connect the dots between business objectives and design goals, balancing creativity with commercial insight. Collaboration: Comfortable working across different disciplines and geographies, with experience managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
