Requirements A bachelors degree in Law, Risk Management, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
At least 7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with specific expertise in the insurance sector.
In-depth knowledge of applicable legislation and a strong understanding of both international and local trends affecting the insurance sector.
Experience in monitoring, compliance management, risk management, project management, and people management.
Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively.
Strong collaboration skills, particularly across cross-functional areas, will be an added advantage.

Proven leadership skills to organize, motivate, and lead a team to achieve individual, departmental, and organizational goals.

Responsibilities Plan, manage, coordinate, and drive key supervisory projects to enhance and implement effective supervisory strategies within the department.
Provide expert technical input into strategic decision-making processes across the department and division.
Support senior executives by delivering technical and supervisory insights as required.
Contribute to legislative amendments and represent the department in international forums when necessary.
Ensure timely delivery of project outcomes and adherence to strict deadlines.
Recommend and implement changes based on supervisory project findings to support departmental objectives.
Apply a risk-based approach to prioritize deliverables and allocate resources effectively.
Engage with industry stakeholders on conduct-of-business supervisory matters.
Collaborate with senior management on operational and strategic issues.
Address complex matters with financial institutions, particularly insurers.
Establish and maintain productive relationships with international and local regulatory stakeholders.
Lead, train, and manage the human resources of the team to ensure effective performance and professional growth.
Analyze large volumes of data and information, exercising sound judgment and attention to detail in decision-making.
