We look forward to your application!About the Role:As a member of our flying squad, you will ensure that security controls are seamlessly integrated into our operations. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of data confidentiality, integrity, availability, and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate closely with our squad members, conducting risk assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability assessments to keep our systems secure and our assets protected.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the development and maintenance of MTN's security architecture, aligning solutions with business objectives. Analyse existing systems, identify vulnerabilities, and propose cutting-edge security solutions.Use advanced tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus to conduct security assessments and penetration testing. Implement technologies that protect our network, systems, and data.Be the first responder to security incidents. Investigate, contain, analyse, and recommend measures to prevent future threats.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the security architecture is integrated across all operations. Foster seamless communication within the MTN Software Solutions team.Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute ideas to enhance our security methodologies and tools. Be flexible and open to evolving technologies and practices.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication; Post-graduate degree in Cyber Security or related field preferred.CISSP or CISM certification required.7+ years of relevant experience, with 4-5 years in security architecture, application, and implementation.Proficiency in security assessment tools, incident response platforms, and forensic analysis tools.
