MANAGER - RISK GOVERNANCE AND REPORTING (IRMSA) - Gauteng, CenturionPURPOSEThe purpose of the Risk Governance and Reporting function is to support the Head of Risk in discharging the primary responsibility for risk governance and risk reporting, as well as overseeing and coordinating the financial soundness and key entity-level controls.This function will coordinate and support the development and implementation of the risk governance framework, supporting processes, and reporting in a manner that meets business and regulatory requirements.Through the key entity-level controls, provide the requisite assurance to Senior Management (Exco) on the overall internal control framework and the implementation of Risk policies across the company entities.QUALIFICATIONSPost Graduate Qualification, preferably in Risk ManagementA member of the Institute of Risk Management of South Africa (IRMSA)EXPERIENCE8-10 years in a Risk Management function, preferably in insurance companies4-6 years experience in Risk Governance and Reporting5 years experience with Regulatory reporting, i.e., ORSA and QRR3 years experience in a leadership or management positionJOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESFormulation of Risk Management Strategy and Risk Management PlanDrafting and preparing strategic risk appetite and risk management tools to guide business directionEnsure that the Enterprise Risk Management Framework is integrated with Regulatory requirementsSupport the Head of Risk with planning for strategic risk identificationFacilitate review of the risk appetite statements to ensure they remain appropriate and recommend changes to the Management Risk Committee where necessaryDevelop and monitor appropriate key risk indicators along with associated tolerance limits and related reportingUndertake periodic risk assessments in collaboration with various risk owners and ensure that risk registers are kept up to date, e.g., Fraud Risk registerFacilitate the implementation of the annual Risk Management plan
