Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30 Proactively monitoring the performance and outputs of the engagement's engines, and advising about trends, deviations and necessary interventionDemand inflow managementCreating and publishing the criteria for pre-production prototypes, and making sure that these, coming from the various internal and external business areas, meet the requirements to be accepted for further development, automation and productionalisationGeneral inflow control and distribution of all requests that are raised to PSMCreating a crash test laboratory – run programme codes and processes in strange or impossible circumstances aiming at breaking them (e.g., missing or poorly populated inputs, or non-readable or wrong data values). Use the results of such crash tests to make code and processes as bulletproof as possible when run in productionCreating and maintaining a proper and exhaustive documentation and reports of all activities, initiatives, demand inflow, systems and data libraries, programming codes, schedules, processes, errors, failure rates etc Qualifications Minimum QualificationsDegree in Business or Commerce/Information TechnologyExperience Required5-7 years in Software Engineering experience in building databases, warehouses, reporting and data integration solutions. Experience building and optimising big data data-pipelines, architectures and data sets. Experience in creating and integrating APIs. Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement8-10 years deep understanding of data pipelining and performance optimisation, data principles, how data fits in an organisation, including customers, products and transactional information. Knowledge of integration patterns, styles, protocols and systems theory8-10 years experience in database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, SPARK and or appropriate data tooling. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
