We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Projects to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring their successful completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources efficiently
Communicate project status, issues, and progress to stakeholders at all levels
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives
Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies
Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of excellence
Analyze project performance and implement continuous improvement strategies
Collaborate with senior management to align projects with organizational goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Professional Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Proficiency in project management methodologies and software
Strong skills in budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment
Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach
Adaptability and resilience in handling changing priorities and project constraints
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices (relevant to our sector)
