We do all this through our B2B model with financial partners.RoleThe Southern Africa Emerging Markets (SAEM) (Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Angola) are a dynamic and varied combination of markets that has loads of potential and this role is tasked to grow the business in these markets. The consumer segment is a very large and exciting segment that embraces Credit, Debit and Prepaid verticals. We are on an exciting journey to expand our ability to provide the right value propositions and define product line strategies that really address the needs of the consumers. In addition, the role focuses on the digital enablement of these markets that will promote frictionless onboarding and digital transactional solutions.This is an exciting and fast-paced role in product management for the consumer product lines and digital solutions that would be well suited for those who enjoy being hands-on with strategy, has strong execution and delivering results. The role will focus on executing a strategy for consumer segments, building out new card and digital products and scaling existing solutions in the market.Product management at Mastercard is a truly engaging function where we deploy our Product Management Excellence Framework applying design thinking methodology to delivering a consistent approach to innovation to differentiate MasterCard from its competition.Role Purpose:The successful candidate will be required to develop and manage products for the MasterCard Consumer segments categorized into the areas like Credit, Debit and Prepaid. The role also includes oversight and delivery of digital solutions that enables a frictionless customer experience from onboarding to transacting. You will be required to interface with Mastercard customers, internal sales and market development stakeholders, services and digital teams and divisional and regional product leads.This role will be tasked to help achieve the Southern Africa Consumer Products P&L objectives in support of the regional initiatives that support MasterCard Middle East and Africa's business and revenue goals.Key Responsibilities:Deliver against growth objectives for Core Issuing and DigitalWork with Existing Issuers to optimize their portfolios by maximising customer utilization and card growthWork with Account managers, enablement teams and customer to sell and deliver new products and solutionsWork with internal MasterCard teams to analyze internal and external stakeholder needs and issuesTrack progress and reports on project plans for creation and implementation of new product features and enhancementsContinually enhance on CVP to ensure market differentiation and localisationSupport the development of internal knowledge documents such as case studies and industry best practicesSupport the development of sales strategy and objectives, and provides training, material development, and product expertise for sales and RFP supportSupports the development of business cases and requirements for product enhancementsEnabling new capabilities in the market e.g. SRC, MDES, Contactless, QR etc. and ensuring market readinessAll about youDeep technical expertise in assigned product, service or platform capabilityAbility to collaborate and work in internal squads created to develop end-to-end solutions for clients with multiple MA capabilities i.e. products, services or platformsClear ability to problem solve and understand client's needsAbility to communicate with and build relationship with client counterparts when requested by account managers or business development managersStrong communication skillsAbility to deliver in a high-speed, high-pressure environmentHelp develop and manage a product or project budget/P&Ls (e.g., compiled estimates of cost drivers, developed bottom line numbers)Portuguese (Preferred but not mandatory)Corporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach, andComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
