A position for Manager: Learning Delivery Services reporting to the Divisional Head : Learning Academy has opened at UWS, and qualified candidates are invited to apply for this strategic role, as outlined below Purpose of the Job: Ensure the effective operationalization of the Learning Academys strategic objectives.
This includes managing day-to-day operations, financial resources, compliance, and fostering stakeholder relationships while ensuring the successful implementation of plans and processes.
This includes maintaining operational excellence to deliver high-quality learning services that align with the Academys mission to support innovation, growth, and educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the position are Operationalisation of Strategic Objectives * Hybrid Training Operations Management * Team and Client Management * ITIL-Based Project Management Office (PMO) Development and Management * Regulatory Compliance and Records Management * Contract and Partner Management.
Minimum Requirements: Matric with NQF 7 Management Qualification, Diploma in Datametrics (Computer Science) Information Systems or equivalent * Post Graduate Certificate in Management and ITIL3-4 Certification will be an added advantage Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management of Information Communication and Technology (ICT), including 3 years in a Senior Management role * Strategy Development and Roll Out, implementation of initiatives, with a focus on aligning these initiatives with organizational goals * Experience with the integration of new technologies with a focus on cloud based/hosted solutions * Development of Business Plans* Managing cross-functional teams dealing with SETA, funding agencies * Demonstrated experience in implementing ITIL service management best practices and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 21001 standards ensuring standardized processes, efficient resource utilization, and continuous improvement in the delivery of projects * Experience in managing a PMO leveraging ITILs service-oriented approach to define project workflows, manage risks, enhance communication between stakeholders, and ensure alignment with operational and strategic goals.
