Manager: Events & Sponsorship

Our client, a prominent organization within the South African financial sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager: Events & Sponsorship to join their team.
This role is situated within the Strategy, Marketing, Communications, and Policy division, specifically under the Marketing and Communications unit.
The position is based in Centurion, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities: Events & Sponsorship Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive events and sponsorship plan aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
Manage the end-to-end process of events, ensuring effective delivery and high-quality standards.Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and sponsors, manage contracts, and seek opportunities for improvements.Policy Framework & Governance: Implement and maintain policies, frameworks, and procedures to ensure compliance with governance standards.Budget Management: Oversee budget planning and execution for events and sponsorships, adhering to cost-containment measures.Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event analyses to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous enhancement of event quality and sponsorship outcomes.Qualifications and Experience: A diploma in Marketing, Events Management, Hospitality, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in event operations and sponsorship management.Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, customer service excellence, social media, and event policies.Knowledge of PFMA, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, budget management principles, and Treasury regulations related to sponsorships and events.If you are passionate about managing events and sponsorships, and have a knack for building impactful relationships, this opportunity is for you.
