We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to manage and develop our global team of environmental project managers and administrators, delivering top-quality services to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage environmental legislative processes and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs).
Stay updated on relevant legislation and its impact on projects.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary specialists and perform strenuous fieldwork.
Liaise with clients and authorities, and compile and write comprehensive reports.
Maintain high-quality standards and continuously improve departmental services.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development of the team.
Manage departmental performance, financial expenditure, workload, and resource allocation.
Achieve revenue targets and develop business plans for service offerings.
Identify and pursue business opportunities, acting as a key account manager.



Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding and practical experience with environmental and social legislation.
Superior ESIA and EMP report writing skills.
Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and managing project teams.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-centric skills.
Financial awareness and ability to manage projects within budget.
Strong business acumen and time management abilities.
Postgraduate degree in Environmental Management or similar.
Project Management Certificate and professional registration with EAPASA, BEAPA, NEMC, or equivalent body is beneficial.
Eight or more years in the relevant field, preferably within consulting.
Extensive experience in project managing international environmental and/or social projects.
At least five years of exposure to the mining industry and five or more years of management experience, including managing teams of 5+ staff.
