Manager: Debt Recoveries

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB To manage the workflow processes in a debt collection and Accounts Receivables sectionsKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Credit managementAccount AdministrationJournal processing/ApprovalsSupervision/Management:Reporting/AnalysisPrepare Accounts Receivable reconciliations on a monthly basis. A sound knowledge of institutional policy and procedures regarding collections, write-offs, and bad debts.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS In order to be considered for appointment to this post, the candidate must have
Matric and Diploma in Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting.At least a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a student accounts environment, with two years experience at the supervisory level.Experience in the Higher Education sector environment will be an added advantageNelson Mandela University reserves the right not to make an appointment.
