Manage the development and implementation of strategies related to Organizational design and Transformation for the relevant areas above.
To co-ordinate and supervise departmental activities, ensuring a pro-active comprehensive human resources services is rendered through sound application of Personnel Management, Training Development and Industrial Relations practices and procedures leading to sound and harmonious employer and employee relations.Possible Tasks within this RoleManage the Human Resources services related to the Production, Logistics and Quality function for management and employees, through the effective deployment of front line Business Partners at the plant Consult, provide advice and guidance to all levels of Top Management, Management, Employees and the Union on all IR strategies, policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and guidelinesSupport the auditing processes, evaluate and implement corrective action where necessary, on relevant HR processes, policies, procedures and agreements, to ensure that these are interpreted and implemented by HR Management, consistently and within the stipulated parametersConduct performance management of each team member, to ensure team members have the opportunity, motivation and guidance to reach his/her full potential within HR DivisionEnsure Performance management processes are appropriately applied in Production, Logistics and Quality and facilitate moderation sessions within the DivisionAdvise, guide and coach HR Business Partners on Employee Relations and Personnel issues to ensure an efficient and effective comprehensive HR service is rendered to all customersIn consultation with team, plan, organize and delegate work and team activities to ensure end results are met timeously and within expected standards whilst resources are utilised efficientlyAdvise Management on Organisational/ departmental planning and structuring, and drive processes associated with the achievement of related Company goalsTo critically evaluate HR operational processes, recommend in consultation with parties involved corrective actions and oversee the implementation of outcomes to ensure more productive and efficient HR serviceTo consult with all level management, Union, Employees on implementation understanding and application of HR strategies, policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to all policies, guidelines and agreements.Introduce and monitor effective HR metrics to ensure up to date and relevant monitoring of performance delivery and KPI'sDrive implementation of the Transformation Strategy to ensure that Company and Legal requirements are met, in order to ensure compliance with current legislationQualification requirementsA relevant Degree in Human Resources or related fieldExperience needed10 years plus work experience in a broad range of HR practices such as Personnel, Employee and Industrial Relations2 Years at Management LevelEssentialsThe understanding of the application of employment lawConceptual skillsBusiness acumenFinancial AcumenStrong inter-personal skills at all levelsConflict Management and Negotiation skillsAnalytical skillsFacilitation skillsPresentation skillsInterviewing skillsComputer literacyAbility to influence othersAbility to interface and communicate with a diversity of peopleDecision-making skills
