Management Accountant

LOCATION: Pretoria, Bloemfontein, KZN, Eastern and Western Cape/Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Kimberley
SALARY AND BENEFITS: R450,000 - R550,000 CTC negotiable based on experience
This is not a "sit behind a desk" kind of position. The Management Accountant will be operationally involved across the business.Positions are available across the company's various regions in South Africa. Successful candidates can therefore be based in or around any of the following areas: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, KZN, Eastern and Western Cape, Port Elizabeth, East London, George, Witbank, Nelspruit, Rustenburg, and Polokwane.This role will suit someone who enjoys being "hands-on" involved in the business's finance operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BCom Degree in Management Accounting, Financial Management, Accounting, or equivalentCIMA or studying towards is essential5 years' experience as a Management AccountantExperience in one or all of the following industries: manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, banking, cash managementExperience with Syspro ERP system advantageousAdvanced Excel and Powerpoint skillsExperience in compiling and conducting presentations to senior managersMust be willing to travel regionally at least once per monthRESPONSIBILITIES: The Management Accountant will act as a Finance Business Partner for their respective region. You will be responsible for financial operations management for the region, managing budgets and forecasts, monitoring and analyzing financial performance, modeling the financial impact within the Operational and Finance Business Unit, and providing financial insights and recommendations to reach regional organizational goals and objectives.
