The maintenance technician must be thorough, with a practical, logical mind and pay attention to detail. Under the direction of the maintenance manager, the technician will adhere to RAM health, safety & management guidelines, and ensure that the maintenance & upkeep of the RAM facilities countrywide are maintained at the highest level. Duties include job cards, reports, inspections, compiling & maintaining stock inventory, scheduling repairs, site visits, as well as repairs and maintenance to mechanical, electrical, closed circuit TV & IT infrastructure. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and safe operation of all mechanical & electronic systems at RAM facilities nationwide.Responsibilities:Attend to & complete scheduled maintenance activities.Maintain schedule/register of maintenance and repair works.Survey buildings and ensure that the hubs are consistent with the maintenance & HSE standards.Perform maintenance of CCTV, mechanical & electrical systems.Maintain & monitor CCTV systems.Inspect & repair alarm systems, fire protection panels, access control, CCTV equipment and gate motors.Perform manual repairs when necessary, i.e., fix locks, doors, windows, ceilings, taps, etc.Conduct fire & safety inspections, i.e., DCP and FHR.Conduct periodic site inspections of buildings, equipment & systems (Building, lights, CCTV, Alarm, electric fence, gates, motors, etc.).Refer to drawings & repair manuals to diagnose & repair equipment.Maintain & repair tools, machinery & equipment.Record all repair works & parts replacement.Receive and complete work orders, checklists & record relevant data.Identify and report any requirements for spare parts required.Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.Respond to emergency calls as needed.Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing tools and equipment.Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.Equipment Used:Hand and power toolsScaffoldingLaddersWelding equipmentLDVWorking Conditions:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying.
