Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a N2 Trade Theory as well as a degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a similar or related maintenance environment Knowledge of Food Safety standards such as FSSC 22000 is essential Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Proficiency in English, both spoken and written The successful candidate will be responsible for: Ensuring maintenance objectives are being met through supervision and scheduling of staff. Providing coaching, communicating job expectations, and planning and organizing work in adherence to company policies and procedures. Ensuring maintenance operational standards by guiding the team to implement the Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule (PPMS). Participating in new business initiatives and projects, particularly those impacting maintenance activities. Effectively managing all maintenance issues and delegating tasks to relevant technicians. Maximizing planned downtime and minimizing unplanned downtime through effective scheduling of both internal and external work. Investigating, resolving, and reporting on maintenance issues, faults, and repairs to ensure continuous plant operation. Overseeing the routine calibration and maintenance requirements of all systems within the facility. Ensuring that designated buildings, plant, and facilities are well-maintained and fit for purpose. Ensuring that processes and procedures are strictly followed to maintain high standards in all maintenance work. Supervising contractors on-site, ensuring that all work aligns with safety standards and company procedures.
