This role will also be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance of the machines and equipment.What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…Operational ManagementResponsible for the efficient and effective operational maintenance on the Booysenssite and assist the Manufacturing team with production supervision, as and when required.Equipment ManagementResponsible for the efficient and effective maintenance ofthe machines and equipment for Howden manufacturing facility in Booysens.Environmental ManagementResponsible for implementation of the Howden Africa environmental plan on the Booysens site.Health & SafetyResponsible for EHS for the Maintenance team and sub-contractors. Will require a legal appointment.Your Education Should Be…Gr 12 or equivalent technical qualification (NTC 3)Qualified Millwright with minimum 5 years mechanical maintenance experienceYour Physical Work Environment Will Require…Occasional travelling to other sites will be requiredWillingness to work overtime as and when requiredYour Professional Experience Should Be…ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years maintenance supervisory experienceGr 12 or equivalent technical qualification (NTC 3)Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Maintenance Planning Software)Qualified Millwright with minimum 5 years mechanical maintenance experienceEHS certification required (Hira, Incident Investigation, Legal Liability, Osh Act, Working at Heights)Ability to read drawings, both electrical and mechanicalGMR 2 certification preferred (if not, will need to be acquired)Desirable Skills & ExperienceFork lift licenceOverhead crane licenceCherry Picker /Scissor Lift licence
