Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 or N2 Trade TheoryDegree or Diploma in Engineering or related fieldEnglish – speaking and writing.3+ years supervisory experience in a similar or related environmentFood Safety knowledge a must – FSSC 22000Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Ensures maintenance objectives are met through the supervision and scheduling of staff, coaching, communicating job expectations, planning and organising work in adherence to policies and procedures.Meets maintenance operational standards by ensuring that the team implements the Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule.Contribute to new business initiatives and projects focusing on the impact on maintenance activities.Effectively manage all maintenance issues and ensure they are carried out by relevant Technicians.Effectively schedule both internal and external work maximising planned down time and reducing unplanned down time.Investigate, resolve and report on all maintenance issues, faults and repairs.Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose:

Manages routine calibration and maintenance requirements of all systems.Ensures that processes and procedures are adhered to in order to maintain high standards of all work.Supervision of contractors on site.The supervisor will be leading the following team: X4 Technicians (mix of Fitter/Welder/Millwright)X1 Maintenance AssistantX1 Assistant Stores person – orders spares, job card admin
