Maintenance MillwrightLocation: Pietermaritzburg, KZN Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliabilityDiagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting faults and implementing corrective actionsPerforming preventive maintenance tasks to downsize and maximize efficiencyCollaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize production interruptionAdhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentOperate and tend lathe and turning machinesTurn, bore, form or face metal plastic materialsOperate production machineryOperate maintenance machineryPerform general engineering-based tasks Requirements:Proven experience as a Maintenance Millwright or similar role in an industrial settingProficiency in mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprintsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailTrade certification as a Millwright or relevant qualificationStrong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
