This critical role ensures compliance with statutory regulations (GMR2.1) and is responsible for maintaining optimal production availability and efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in managing technical projects, driving continuous improvements, and leading a high-performing team. Responsibilities include implementing and upholding a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan to maximise production uptime, managing technical and process projects to enhance OEE, and developing and controlling the maintenance budget. The role also involves overseeing equipment upgrades and capex projects. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce energy and maintenance costs. The ideal candidate will possess a technical trade or national training certificate, with a National Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred. A GCC certification would be advantageous. Candidates should have proven experience in maintenance management within the FMCG environment, strong people management skills, and expertise in budget management and safety protocols.
