Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee and lead maintenance procedures, ensuring that facilities are always in good and safe condition and that all equipment is running efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Room Care Programme: Ensure the programme is pre-planned, budgeted, and managed effectively.Preventative Maintenance: Develop an annual schedule and maintain all plant and machinery accordingly.Procurement: Place orders for maintenance requirements and repairs with prior approval from the General Manager/Financial Manager or Assistant General Manager.Energy Management: Manage policies on power-saving globes, appliances, and best practices.Budget Management: Draw up the maintenance department budget, control expenditure, and provide monthly reports to the General Manager.Service Monitoring: Oversee the quality of services performed by outside contractors in line with lease agreements, service contracts, and warranties.Requirements:Experience: Approximately 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager.Education: Matric, with a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical fields as an added advantage.If you are a proactive and experienced maintenance professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
